Our goal is to retain our current members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and reclaim our lost pearls. The sisterhood and supreme service of the members of Theta Omicron Omega chapter truly exemplify the spirit of excellence within Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Transfer
Before transferring membership from one chapter to another, you must obtain the consent of your former chapter. The Transfer Verification Form must be completed before transferring your membership. Please have the President and Treasurer of the last chapter that you were affiliated with fill out the form and return the original to you. Before transferring your status as a General Member to chapter member, you must obtain clearance from the Alpha Kappa Alpha Corporate Office. We encourage you to bring the completed form to our next chapter meeting. Please make sure you keep a copy for your records. The dues vary depending on your current membership status. Transferring into Theta Omicron Omega Chapter from another chapter or from general membership is easy as one, two, three! Thank you for your consideration and adherence to the procedures and we look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
Reactivation
Theta Omicron Omega Chapter always welcomes returning Alpha Kappa Alpha members to reactivate to our sisterhood. We are a legacy of sisterhood and service and welcome you back with open arms. If you have been inactive for over a year, we know you are longing to actively participate with a chapter again. Visiting members are welcome to attend a meeting to get acquainted with the chapter and learn more about Theta Omicron Omega. Members wanting to visit, are asked to do the following: Please bring your picture ID AND one of the following: (1) your most recent financial card, (2) a transfer verification form from a chapter with proper signatures, or (3) any Ivy Leaf magazine with address label attached.

Visiting Members
Theta Omicron Omega Chapter meetings are open ONLY to initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Chapter meetings are generally held on the second Saturday of every month EXCEPT July and August beginning promptly at 10:30 am, unless otherwise noted. If you are new to the Northwest Georgia area or you are seeking a new AKA home, we cordially invite you to join us for our next meeting! The meeting’s attire is Business. Please bring required credentials for admittance (i.e. financial card, old Ivy Leaf with name/address)
Prospective Members
Alpha Kappa Alpha seeks women who will promote, uphold and extend its policies and programs. In return, the Sorority is a conduit through which individuals can grow and develop personally and professionally, while simultaneously providing “Service to All Mankind.”
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Official Graduate Membership Intake Process is by invitation only and may not be solicited. Our chapter hosts public events, such as forums, cultural presentations and social activities, which you may wish to attend in order to become acquainted with Sorority members and our community service activities in the area.
